Suzi Quatro en af de mest succesfulde kvindelig bassister nogensinde gæster Docken igen!

Suzi er et af de 70’er fænomener, som bliver ved med at dukke op i det ny årtusinde. Selvom der nu er gået 50 år har Suzi ingen intentioner om at trække sig tilbage. Tværtimod! Hun bliver ved med at overraske og forbløffe publikum med sin karakteristiske hæse stemme at nå langt ud over scenekanten.

Quatro har solgt 55 milioner plader og er kendt med flere singler heriblandt “Can The Can” og “Devil Gate Drive”. Det berømte nummer "Stumblin In", som hun sang med Chris Norman (Smokie), skulle markere hendes skift fra hård rock men endte med at blive det største hit for begge musikere. Powered by quiet motors, they provide simple,clean transportation in urban areas. However, the overhead electric wires needed to power the cars require constant maintenance, and special trains are needed to quickly repair any damage. This LGB work train has the tools you need to keep the streetcars running: a lighted and powered crew car plus a tower car.

LGB 20380 - New Orleans street car.

Streetcars were once in widespread use across America, and this LGB replica wears the livery and lettering of the New Orleans Public Service Company, whose vintage Perley Thomas streetcars were not only immortalized in the classic film “A Streetcar Named Desire”, but remain in operation decades after this form of mass transit disappeared from most American cities.
The original car number 952, prototype of the LGB model, is also still in use, but today it runs in San Francisco on the “F-line” from Fisherman's Wharf to Market Street.
Sister “900 series” cars can be found in museums around the country.
The model features the folding doors and fold-down steps of the original.
Twin Bühler motors provide power for steep grades, and automatic directional circuitry controls the headlights.

The Prototype
Millions of people have ridden these all-steel, Perley Thomas streetcars on urban lines from California to New York. But one person, a young Marlon Brando, made this streetcar famous as he bellowed “Stellllllaaaaa!” in the groundbreaking 1951 movie, “A Streetcar Named Desire.” The LGB model is painted and lettered for the New Orleans Public Service Company.
